Rock Labor Day – The Labor Day celebration in Rock will take place at the Rock Lions Club along M-35 in Rock. Fresh pasties will be sold and the raffle drawing is set for 5 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by the Rock Lions and the Rock American Legion Post 559, both non-profit service organizations.

25th Anniversary Labor Day – Marquette Alger Community Labor Council’s Labor Day observance starts at 11 a.m. with a parade in Ishpeming followed by a rally from noon to 4 p.m. at the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum and Lake Bancroft Park.
