Deadline – This is the deadline for purchasing tickets for a Croation chicken dinner is planned at Grace Lutheran Church, M-35 in Gwinn, from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 24. Old Victorian Craft Fair – The 32nd annual Old Victoria Craft Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with refreshments served all afternoon. Hike – The North Country Trail Hikers Chapter of the North Country Trail Association will hold its third Sunday hike at 1 p.m. in the Elliott Donnelley Wilderness for 2.7 miles one way, round trip of 5.4 miles or approximately three hours time. It’s a relatively easy hike along the Little Garlic River with a few hills. Bring walking sticks, cameras, water and bug dope. The Elliott Donnelley Wilderness parking area is about 12 miles north of Marquette on County Road 550 just north of the Little Garlic River Bridge. Turn left into the parking area.
