MACC hosting discussion Friday

MARQUETTE -The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center will be hosting a discussion on Giving Motherhood a Voice: A Conversation about the Creative Lives of Women at 2 p.m. Friday in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library, located at 217 N. Front St., Marquette.

Author, editor, artist and blogger Suzi Banks Baum has organized an afternoon of “mothers reading to others” with live words and a conversation with local women artists and the audience. Joining Banks Baum will be authors Kathy Drue, Monica Devine and singer/composer Terri Bocklund who will share their work and host this lively conversation about the intersection of motherhood and creativity.
