ISHPEMING – An Ishpeming man was arrested for driving with a suspended license after being involved in a traffic accident in Ishpeming Monday.

Ishpeming police said at about 1:30 p.m. Monday Andrew Juchemich, 28, of Ishpeming turned his 1999 Ford Taurus north onto Second Street from U.S. 41 into the path of 24-year-old Megan Couture of Ishpeming, striking her 1999 Ford Contour. Couture was driving west.

Juchemich was arrested at the scene for driving while license suspended/revoked, second offense. He was also cited for failure to yield the right of way, a civil infraction.
