Registration for primary to end

MARQUETTE – Monday is the last day for voters to register to vote in the August primary election.

The election is Aug. 5 and numerous candidates and issues will be on the ballot on the national, state and local levels.

Those who are not registered to vote can do so at any Michigan Secretary of State office or at their county or local clerk’s office. Absentee ballots are available for those who qualify.
