NMU hockey camp still open

MARQUETTE – Room still remains for families to sign up youth hockey players for the annual Northern Michigan University Summer Hockey Development Camp.

This camp, which runs from Monday through Friday, July 7-11, at the Berry Events Center, consists of high-level, fundamentals-focused instruction built around a fun atmosphere where players take part in two on-ice and two off-ice sessions each day. The camp is directed by NMU head hockey coach Walt Kyle and includes his coaching staff.

The camp is designed for Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam level players. Cost is $390 for skaters and $285 for goalies and includes an unlimited lunch buffet each day at the BEC’s Wildcat Den.
