Aaron Joseph Armatti
GWINN, MI. – Aaron Joseph Armatti, 41, of Gwinn, died unexpectedly Friday evening, June 6, 2014 at his residence in Gwinn.
Aaron Joe was born on October 17, 1973 in Ishpeming and was a 1992 graduate of Gwinn High School.
He previously co-owned and operated Superior Trucking in Florida and Aaron’s Septic in Gwinn. He was also employed by Armatti Trucking in Gwinn.
Aaron Joe enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his friends and was known by many to have a sweet and charming personality.
Survivors include his son, Aaron Joseph Armatti, Jr.; his parents, Patti Macario Armatti of Blue Eye, MO and Neil L. Armatti of Gwinn; three siblings, Neil Joe (Kim) Armatti of Gwinn, Becky Jo (David) Syrja of Gwinn, and Cory Joe (Supi) Armatti of Neenah, WI; paternal grandmother, Edith Armatti of Austin Location and maternal grandmother, Aune Macario of Princeton; nieces and nephews, Neil T. (Jamie) Armatti, Kaitlyn (Derrek) Armatti-McMaster, Brandon David Syrja, Travis Joe Syrja, Elijah and Ava Armatti; great nephew, Evan Armatti; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Battista Armatti and maternal grandfather, Joseph Macario.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at noon in the Canale-Gwinn Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Hendry of Living Faith Fellowship presiding. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
