Chipman hits three homers, drives in seven runs for Globe Printing in W.I.N.

Junior League

Meyer Family Vision defeated Jubilee Foods, 17-5, last week. For Meyer, Taylor LaFreniere was 2 for 2 with a triple, Ellie Homola went 2 for 2, and Andy Faull had two hits to the outfield. For Jubilee, Allison Korpi was 2 for 3.

Globe Printing beat Martin’s Sports, 11-1. Globe was led by Hope Kaukola, Haley Mattila and Anna Chipman with three hits. Brooke Hill and MacKenzie Roan added two hits and a walk each. For Martin’s, Melissa Bauer went 2 for 2 with a triple, while Hailey Hytinen, Bailey Peterson and Marley Hagelin each added a base hit.

Globe Printing also topped Jubilee Foods, 17-2. For Globe, Anna Chipman had three home runs and seven RBIs. Hope Kaukola went 3 for 3 and Brooke Hill went 2 for 2 with a walk. For Jubilee, Alexa Wills went 2 for 2. Ella Luke, Aleah LaJoie and Claire Gilles added base hits.

Jubilee Foods knocked off Peninsula Bank, 14-11. For Jubilee, Aleah LaJoie went 3 for 3 with four RBIs. Claire Gilles, Isabel Luke and Allison Korpi had two hits apiece. For Pen Bank, Chantel Woodbridge went 3 for 3 with two home runs and seven RBIs. Alena Palomaki also went 3 for 3.

Peninsula Bank defeated TruNorth Credit Union, 17-6. For Pen Bank, Jadyn Maki went 4 for 4 and Marissa Neveau went 3 for 4. Madison McNab also added a three-run triple. For TruNorth, Amber Lahnanen went 2 for 3 with a triple.

Meyer Family Vision topped Martin Sports, 6-1. For Meyer, Madison Barry hit a double and Abby Faull had a hit. For Martin, Missy Bauer hit an RBI double and Bailey Peterson reached base twice.

Senior League

The Ishpeming Tri-Township Lions defeated the Elks Lodge #447, 20-5. Leading the way for the Lions were Bree Ranta and Jordyn Olander. Ranta and Olander both went 3 for 4 with a home run. Madison Pruett and Brylea Ranta each contributed three hits. For the Elks, Myah McNab and Chloe Stetson each had two hits.

Jubilee beat Dan Perkins, 19-8. Hannah Smith was the winning pitcher and hit a three-run homer. Lindsey Giraud went 2 for 3, hitting a triple and a double. Desiree Neveau went 2 for 2 with a double. For Perkins, Lillee Martin had a two-run single.

Woody’s Auto knocked off Dan Perkins, 24-8. For Woody’s, Karli Burke went 3 for 4 with a triple, Val LaChapelle went 3 for 3 with a double and MacKenzie Richards went 2 for 3. For Perkins, Elaina Treloar went 2 for 3 with a two-run homer, Brittany Vickstrom went 2 for 3 with a triple and Holly Luokkala had a triple.
