Cindy Kinney

MUNISING, MI. – Cindy Kinney, age 57, of Munising died Friday, June 6, 2014 at her home under the loving care of her family and Northwoods Home Hospice.

She was born on April 19, 1957 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Nelson Farrish and Beatrice (LaLonde) Butchicakis. Cindy married her childhood neighborhood friend Phillip Kinney on April 27, 1973, and together they raised their three children. She enjoyed fishing, canoeing, crocheting, going to the casino and playing BINGO. Cindy was a people person and lifelong caregiver. She always looked after the underdog, and took care of her family. Marie, and Harold “Dooder” (Julie) Kinney of Sugar Island; and numerous nieces and newphews.
