Lynn M. Waters Robinson

ISHPEMING, MI. – Lynn M. Waters Robinson, age 51 of 924 N. Main St. Ishpeming & former Kewanee, IL resident passed away Sunday May 18, 2014 at her sister’s home while in the loving comfort of her family and Lake Superior Hospice.

Lynn was born September 28, 1962 in Ishpeming to Charles W. & Elizabeth (Argall) Waters. Lynn graduated from Westwood High School, class of 1980, received an associates degree in Art from Blackhawk College and a Bachelor degree in Business Management from Western Illinois.

Lynn worked as an architect designing kitchens and bathrooms for Lowe’s. She enjoyed painting, reading and arts & crafts. Time spent with her grandchildren were special times of hers. She was active and enjoyed conversing on “Youp Loop” with others from the Ishpeming and Negaunee area. Lynn was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ishpeming.

Lynn is survived by her parents: Charlie W. & Elizabeth “Liz” Waters of Ishpeming, 3 children: Shaun (Jennifer) Robinson of Kewanee, IL, Christopher (Emily) Robinson of Kewanee, IL and Shannon Robinson of Davenport, IA, a brother, Timothy (Stacie) Waters of Clinton, MI, 4 sisters: Tammy (Ray) Hoffman of Ishpeming, Cynthia (Carl) Walin of Ishpeming, Renee (Donald) Edens of Seminole, FL and Melissa (Dennis) Andrews of Marquette, 9 grandchildren, Nathan, Loryen, Brayden, Cydnie & Davennie Robinson, Aloria Button, Payton Hintermeister, Jonathan Sullivan and Kamron Fuller, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lynn was preceded in death by grandparents: Carmen & Charles E. Waters, Arnie & Ella Kangas and aunts Sandra Moffatt and Beverly Tilly.

Lynn’s family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 21 from 5:30-6:30pm at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 6:30pm with Phyllis DeWitt officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
