Lowe’s grant funds GMS computer project

Shown is some of the computer equipment the Gwinn Middle School purchased with a $5,000 Toolbox for Education grant from Lowe’s Home Improvement. The grant enabled GMS eighth-grade students to learn about what parts it takes for a computer to run, shop for those parts and then build computers. GMS is among more than 600 schools across the United States to be awarded a Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant this spring.
