Auto program accredited

MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University’s automotive service technology program has been accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation.

The foundation’s goal is to improve the quality of training programs at secondary and post-secondary schools nationwide.

“NATEF accreditation standardizes the information taught so that graduates will leave Northern with all of the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful automotive technicians,” said Daryl Kobie of Technology and Occupational Sciences at NMU.
