USPS to host seminars
MARQUETTE – The United States Postal Service in Marquette will hold a pair of seminars focusing on non-profits, businesses, standard mail, Every Door Direct Mail as well as the USPS?website.
The first seminar will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 24 at the Marquette Post Office, located at 202 W. Washington St. , and will focus on non-profit mailing, the USPS website and Every Door Direct Mail.
The second seminar, also from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be hosted at the post office April 25. The second session will focus on Every Door Direct Mail, standard mail and the USPS website.
“Every Door Direct Mail is a service where you can reach the customers who matter the most to your business in nearby neighborhoods,” USPS said in a news release. “You don’t even need to know names or street addresses. Simply identify the neighborhoods you want to target and your printed piece is delivered to every active address in your target area. No purchased permit is required.”
The post office stated the seminars help show how the USPS is realizing and facing the challenges in today’s economy and helps illustrate how it is continually making advances in electronic tools to make mailing easier and more cost effective.
