Superior Dome closed for repairs
MARQUETTE – As a result of repair work on the turf, Northern Michigan University has closed down the Superior Dome to visitors for the rest of the day.
The dome will remain closed through Wednesday, with NMU officials expecting it to be reopened by Thursday morning.
The public will still have access to the NMU Ticket Office during the closure, but will not have access to the concourse walkway beyond the entrance area.
Some courses and athletic practices scheduled to be held in the facility are being moved to other areas of the NMU Sports Complex. Courses in the Superior Dome classrooms will be held as scheduled.
