Well-deserved Partnership awards given out at dinner

The recipients of the Lake Superior Community Partnership’s annual awards deserve positive public notice.

U.P. Home Health, Hospice, & Private Duty accepted the award in the business category and Dave Aro of Negaunee accepted the individual award.

The awards were presented Thursday night before community members attending the Lake Superior Community Partnership’s Annual Dinner celebration at Northern Michigan University’s Great Lakes Rooms.

Criteria used in the award selection process include making a strong contribution to the betterment of Marquette County through the use of time, talent and/or treasure, helping the Lake Superior Community Partnership reach its community and economic development goals, and demonstrating leadership within the community.

Both U.P. Home Health, Hospice, & Private Duty and Aro are community bedrocks, essential ingredients in making up the collective community fabric.

We wholeheartedly congratulate them both.
