Gladys Victoria Endress
MARQUETTE, MI. – Gladys Victoria Endress, 87, of Marquette, passed away early Friday morning, February 28, 2014 at her home in the comfort of her loving family and under the care of U .P. Home Health and Hospice.
Gladys was born on January 13, 1927 in Grand Marais, Michigan, to the late Alfred and Mabel Lundquist. She was a graduate of Grand Marais High School and was a former member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church as well as its altar society.
In her free time, Gladys loved to knit, sew and garden.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by two children, Irene (Darwin) Gager and Ora J. Endress, Jr., both of Marquette; one granddaughter, Allison Gager; two sisters, Ann O’Leary of Saginaw and Isabelle Capagrossa of Grand Marais; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband, Ora J. Endress, Jr. and two brothers, Alfred and Francis Lundquist.
A graveside service will take place in the spring at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Grand Marais.
