Collins documentary screening

MARQUETTE – Bluesday Tuesday hosts a documentary film screening about blues guitarist Albert Collins at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library, Marquette.

Released in 2008, “Albert Collins: Live at Montreux 1992” was filmed just a year before his untimely death from cancer.

This concert shows the great Albert Collins, one of the most influential Blues guitarists of all time, still in fine form. With his trademark Fender Telecaster and distinctive finger picking style, “The Iceman” delivers a set that runs from his early million selling single “Frosty” right up to songs from his final studio album “Iceman.”
