Pathways to hold ribbon cutting

ESCANABA-Lincoln Park in Escanaba has added another health agency for the people of Delta County.

Pathways Community Mental Health is having a ribbon cutting and dedication of their new facility at Lincoln Park, behind the Marquette General facility at 3 p.m. Thursday. Pathways’ mission is to serve and empower people with severe mental disorders, severe emotional disturbances, or developmental disabilities to enhance their quality of life.

“We are fortunate to have found a property that provides close, easy access to primary care facilities,” said John Basse, Pathways’ CEO. “In the new world of health care, we will be working alongside hospitals and service providers to help our clients in their overall recovery.”

In addition to the ribbon cutting with light refreshments, there will be a dedication ceremony in honor of David Shultz, former Delta County Board member and Pathways board chairman.
