Prep boys basketball: Superior Central rallys for win over Engadine

EBEN – Outscoring visiting Engadine 35-13 in the second half, the Superior Central High School boys basketball team took a 63-42 non-conference win Thursday night.

Cody Maki scored 17 points and Jake Aho 16 for SC (3-11)

“I thought Nick Maki played a really good game (too), chipping in seven points and grabbing eight boards from his guard position,” SC head coach Herb Jenkins said.

He also lauded Justyn Hill, who had nine blocks and seven rebounds for the Cougars, who trailed 29-28 at the half.

“He was the difference maker for us tonight,” Jenkins said.
