District to change superintendents
ISHPEMING – The Ishpeming school board at today’s meeting is expected to accept the resignation of Interim Superintendent Dan Paul and appoint business manager Anthony Bertucci to the position while the district’s superintendent search continues.
The meeting is at 5 p.m. at the Ishpeming High School library.
“Mr. Paul is resigning due to health reasons, so as board policy would dictate I’m the acting superintendent,” Bertucci said.
Sheri Davie, search consultant for the Michigan Association of School Boards, will be at the meeting to discuss her progress and update the board on the status of the superintendent search. Bertucci said the first round of applications are due today.
In addition, the board has scheduled the second and final public hearing on the recommendations of the Reproductive Health Advisory Committee.
