Adeline ‘Patty’ (Dymond) Cote
NEGAUNEE, MI. – Adeline ‘Patty’ Cote, 88, longtime Negaunee resident, joined her husband in eternal life at 8:52am on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Eastwood Nursing Center where she had resided since 2008.
Patty was born December 23, 1924 in National Mine to William and Jessie Dymond, attended National Mine Schools and was a lifelong area resident.
In her younger years, she worked at the Ishpeming Dry Cleaners. Patty spent much of her life caring for others and her kindness and compassion for those around her will be considered her legacy and lesson to younger generations. Originally a child of the Depression, Patty spent her time and energy providing for others. She was a member of the Negaunee VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are her son, Armando (Shannon) Ruiz of Negaunee; grandchildren: Darcie (Jimmy) McField, Armando Logan Ruiz, Alena Ruiz and Gavriella Ruiz; great-grandchildren: Adonya, Icesis, Niemah, Myian, Amira, Armando Tristan, Haylee; 2 sisters: Pearl Balzarini and Luella Greet; brother, Bull Dymond; numerous cousins and extended family members, and her special niece Marie Keto.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Cote; 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4th at the Koskey Funeral Home with Dr. Aaron Scholnik officiating. Burial will be in Northland Chapel Gardens.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00 until the time of services at 3:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday. A reception with light refreshments will follow the service at the Temple Beth Sholom in Ishpeming.
