Community 100 Day Project set

MARQUETTE – The city of Marquette Arts and Culture Center will host three informational meetings about the community 100 Day Project at 1 p.m. Oct. 12, Dec. 7, and Jan. 4.

The 100 Day Project started with an exhibit of artwork at the MACC created by nine Upper Michigan artists over 100 consecutive days. Community members who are interested in taking part in their own 100 Day Project but have questions or need help generating ideas are invited to attend these meetings at the MACC lead by Ann Russ and Melissa Middleton. The community launch date for the 100 Day Project is Jan. 21. There will be a closing exhibit in June 2014 where participants can show their finished work.
