Who was the biggest influence on your hockey career?

“My parents, both of them, my mom and dad. Just the way they pushed me when I was younger. They always wanted me to be the best I could be and I appreciate it now.”

What’s your favorite pregame meal?

“Just pasta. It doesn’t matter – red sauce or anything.”

If you could star in any type of movie, what would it be?

“A comedy. I like watching all the funny movies with Seth Rogen and all those guys. It would be fun to do something like that.”

In head coach Walt Kyle’s words:

“Hard competitor. He’s scored 28 goals in the U.S. league last year. He has a good shot, good around the net. He doesn’t get out competed or out worked. He battles hard on pucks. He’s a tough kid. He’s a real good addition to the hockey team.”
