Cheryl Ann Patrick
ISHPEMING, MI. – Cheryl Ann Patrick, age 54, was carried away on butterfly wings into her next life on Sunday, October 6, 2013 while surrounded by her family, friends and under the loving care of U.P. Home Health & Hospice.
Cheryl was born on September 8, 1959. She graduated from night school in 1991 receiving her diploma from Negaunee High School. Her biggest joys in life were her two daughters. Cheryl was a stay at home mom for many years before taking a job as a dietary aide at Mather Nursing Home for many years.
Cheryl enjoyed blueberry picking. She also loved being at camp, having camp fires and enjoying friends. Cheryl loved her girls and most of all her six grandchildren. She enjoyed babysitting them and taking them bumming as she called it. Cheryl enjoyed playing cards with her sister, and longtime friends Fern Niemi and Mary Kjellman along with family. Cheryl lived life for her family and friends. She cherished time at the kitchen table sharing coffee and memories with them.
Cheryl is survived by Daniel Patrick Jr., her loving ex husband who remained a great friend. She is also survived by her daughters Melissa (Jason) Brown, their three girls Mykenzie “Rae Brown”, Mykayla “Dolly face” and Mykeira “Uh-oh,” daughter Jamie (Andy) Zaleski with their three children Garron “Little Old Man,” Jayvin “Birdie,” and Addilyn “Beasty” all of Ishpeming, her brothers Tom (Lynn) St. Aubin, Daryl St.Aubin, Ken St. Aubin, her rock and sister Elizabeth (Steven) Laine, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who she loved so much. Along with a special lifelong best friend Mary Kjellman. She also left behind her canine companion Bella. She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy St.Aubin, her father in law Daniel James Patrick Sr whom she treasured as a father, along with a sister and brother.
Family would like to invite all friends and family to Cheryl’s funeral service at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Pastor Hank Steede officiating.
Cheryl’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm.
A luncheon will be held at the Good News Assembly of God Church following the funeral service.
A special thanks to all the staff at U.P. Home Health & Hospice especially Erin Wright and Marie Tourtillott who Cheryl believed were angels on Earth.
