If you weren’t a hockey player, what would you be?

“A soccer player.”

If you could be any soccer player on any team in the world, who would you be and who would you play for?

“I would be Cristiano Ronaldo for Real Madrid.”

Who was the biggest influence on your hockey career and why?”

“Teemu Selanne. He’s the biggest Finnish player during my life. He’s still playing. He’s a national hero for us.”

In head coach Walt Kyle’s words:

“Another Finn that we’ve recruited here. He’s got real good size and strength, exceptional hands for a big man, real good strength down low. He’s going to have to play at pace and learn to battle and do those things. He has a huge up side.”
