If you weren’t a hockey player, what would you be?

“Probably another type of sports player, like lacrosse. Maybe a business owner.”

What is the song you must listen to before every game?

“Strobe” by Dead Mouse.

Who was your biggest influence on your hockey career?

“Probably my coaches at the United States Development Program – Ron Rolston and Chadd Dassidy. They’re both at Buffalo now. They’re pretty good and taught me how to play there well.”

In head coach Walt Kyle’s words:

“He’s a good puck handler, sees the ice well and an intense defender. Down low, he’s a good, competitive defender. That’s one of his strengths. We think he’ll certainly play and as time goes, really develop into a good defenseman here.”
