NMU soccer: Wildcats hosting soccer school this fall

MARQUETTE – Boys and girls ages 8 to 17 are invited to attend the second annual Wildcat Soccer School this fall hosted by the Northern Michigan University women’s soccer team.

Two five-week sessions will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on consecutive Mondays, one from Sept. 16-Oct. 14 and the other from Oct. 21-Nov. 18, all on the indoor turf of the Superior Dome.

The school will divide players by age and ability and teach both technical as well as tactical aspects of soccer. Goalkeeper training will also be offered in each session, with each ending in a shorts scrimmage.

Cost is $70 per five-week session and sign-up takes palce 15 minutes before the first session.
