Rayome named interim dean

MARQUETTE – David Rayome has been named interim dean of Northern Michigan University’s College of Business.

Rayome joined the NMU faculty in 1991 and was named the college’s outstanding teacher in 2002. He was a full professor and chairman of the Graduate Programs Committee during the last academic year.

Rayome directed Northern’s master’s in business administration program when it was re-established in 2010. His research interests include international business and the systematic trading of equities and futures.

A native of Lewisburg, Ohio, Rayome received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Akron. He earned his doctorate at Kent State University. His major was finance with a minor in international economics.
