MSU workshops focus on startups
L’ANSE- Michigan State University Extension is presenting two-hour workshops on small business topics including marketing, search engine optimization, mobile websites, business finance, and how to start a business in the State of Michigan.
The workshops are presented by MSUE business development expert Paul J. Werner. He will cover topics such as how to maximize your marketing dollars, how to construct an advertisement for print or broadcast, how to use search engines to complement your print advertisements, how to develop a mobile website, how to start and register a business in the state of Michigan and also business finance topics by Smart Money.
The various workshops are held throughout the month of August in the Baraga County Administration building in downtown L’Anse. Workshops typically run from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring their products or ideas to the workshop to get feedback from other participants.
