Local law firm changes name
MARQUETTE?- The Marquette law firm of Kendricks, Bordeau, Adamini, Chilman & Greenlee, P.C. announces a change to the firm’s name to recognize the contributions of partner Ronald D. Keefe. The firm will now be known as Kendricks, Bordeau, Adamini, Greenlee & Keefe, P.C.
The firm’s prior name was formed in the merger of the Ishpeming law firm of Chilman & Greenlee with Marquette firm Kendricks Bordeau P.C. in 2000. W. Scott Chilman, previously a named partner in the firm, died in 2003.
Keefe, a partner in the firm more than 30 years, has built a distinguished reputation throughout Michigan as an attorney and mediator. In 2007-2008, Keefe was the first Upper Peninsula attorney in almost 50 years to serve as president of the State Bar of Michigan. Keefe focuses his practice on civil litigation, mediation, and municipal law, and serves as the Marquette city attorney.
