Creativity series at kids museum

MARQUETTE – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will hold its next Second Thursday Creativity Series program “Local History” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 11. This is an evening of hands-on, activities with a local history theme, including creative snacks, music and more.

This series is for preschool and elementary-age children and their caregivers. The event is free with admission or membership to the museum.

Thursday is also Domino’s Pizza Night at the museum so pizza can be ordered for an extra cost by calling ahead by 5:30 that evening.

The Second Thursday program is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, the Max and Phyllis Reynolds Foundation, Kohl’s and Culver’s.
