Girl Scouts help plant Cliffs’ trees
Girl Scouts from the Northwestern Great Lakes Council plant a tree recently at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum as part of Cliffs Natural Resources Michigan operations fifth annual community tree planting. Nearly two dozen trees were planted on the grounds of the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee Township. Girl Scouts planted the trees at various locations around the museum to help improve the aesthetics and prevent motorized vehicles from driving on the trails. The cost for the trees and additional planting expenses were covered by Cliffs. Cliffs also donated $500 to the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes.
