MSHS groups participate in Michigan Youth Arts Festival

Nearly 1,000 Michigan high school student-artists were invited to attend this year’s Michigan Youth Arts Festival May 9-11 at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.

The Michigan Youth Arts Festival is a comprehensive arts spectacular, culminating a nine-month search for the finest artistic talent in Michigan high schools.

The students, chosen from more than 250,000 across the state, were selected via a rigorous adjudication process.

Marquette Senior High School had the honor of being represented by both individuals and ensembles.
