Farmers and crafters market open

NEGAUNEE – The City of Negaunee is announcing the fifth season of the Jackson Mine Farmers and Crafters Market. The market will feature a combination of fresh, locally grown produce and produced goods along with crafted and unique items.

The market will be open Wednesdays from 4:30 to 7 p.m. through Sept. 18 at Miners Park at US 41 and Maas Street in Negaunee.

The market features goods from local producers and vendors and serves customers from Negaunee, Ishpeming and Marquette County.

The market accepts both the Project Fresh program and the Snap Bridge card to enable purchase of locally produced food items.
