Pamela Rose Lemay
ISHPEMING – Pamela Rose Lemay, age 60 of Ishpeming and former Marquette resident passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of her family and Lake Superior Hospice.
Pamela was born February 13, 1953 in Marquette to Rudolph Nyman and the late Delores (Alakson) Sandoval.
She worked as a waitress and caregiver who was a caring and kind person to everyone she knew.
Pamela is survived by her husband John Lemay, father Rudolph (Barbara Jean) Nyman of Champion, sisters and brother: Mary Kay (Mark) Charbonneau of Norway, MI, Barb Morrison of Iron Mountain, Rudy (Delcene) Nyman of Appleton, Janice (Jim) Kippola of Negaunee and Wayne Basal of Marquette, nieces and nephews: Dawn (Jim) McNutt, Travis Brown, Megan (Christopher) Penny, James (Rose) Kippola, Jimmy Lee (Tina) Jandron, Penny Lake, Kortney Nyman and Brett Nyman, Uncle Clarence Nyman and Aunt Irene Kenowski and several cousins. Pam was preceded in death by her mother Delores and sisters Jill Diane (Nyman) Jandron, and Frances Marie Nyman.
All who wish to pay their last respects to Pamela are welcome to her graveside service held at 2:00pm on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Chatham, MI with Deacon Dean Jackson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the Marquette County Medical Care Facilities Activity Fund.
The Nyman family would like to thank the staff of the Marquette County Medical Care Facility for their outstanding, wonderful care and love given to Pam.
