GLRC to talk nature of happiness
MARQUETTE – In recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness month, Bob Mellin, LMSW, CAADC, LPC, Clinical Supervisor with Great Lakes Recovery Centers will discuss the Psychology of Happiness from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Peter White Public Library in the Community room on the lower level of the library.
Mellin will explore the nature of positive and negative emotions, and the psychological and cognitive processes involved in their generation.
Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch or buy from the library cafe. There is no admission charge and no pre-registration is required. This presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of community groups and the Peter White Public Library.
