ADHD talk at Peter White
MARQUETTE – Heather Busser-Demarte, PsyD, a psychologist with Marquette General Behavioral Health, will discuss Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.
Attendees may bring their own lunch or buy from the library cafe. Admission is free, no preregistration required.

Family night at Aspen Ridge
ISHPEMING – The 14th Annual Family Night “Play, Learn, and Grow Together” will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Aspen Ridge Elementary School. Activities will include gardening, kite making, archery, Lowe’s Build It Camp, and math and science activities, and more. There also will be exhibits by the DNR, Rock & Mineral Club, Heritage Trail, Marquette Food Co-op, UPAWS and more.
A complimentary hot dog supper will be provided by Jay Blewett of Jubilee Foods. Cupcakes will be provided by Aspen Ridge Bakers.
Genealogy meeting at NMU
MARQUETTE – The Marquette County Genealogical Society will hold its May meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Northern Michigan University Archives, located on the lower level of the Learning Resource Center at NMU.
The meeting will be followed by a presentation by Marcus C. Robyns regarding the archival holdings and guidelines for doing research at the NMU Archives.
Members and the public are welcome. Parking and entrance to the building will be on the Tracy Street side of the building.
