CSI talk slated at NMU

MARQUETTE – Forensic scientist Ray Wickenheiser will detail his profession during a presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday in 103 Jamrich Hall at Northern Michigan University. Wickenheiser is laboratory director of the Montgomery County Police Crime Laboratory in Maryland. This talk is free and open to the public.

Wickenheiser will explore CSI on TV versus real life, the strengths and limitations of DNA tests, forensic science developments over the past 30 years and the future role of science in crime-scene investigations.
