Justice advocate to speak at NMU
MARQUETTE – Sandra Fluke, the social justice advocate whose effort to testify before a House committee on the need for insurance plans to cover contraception created a national media firestorm, will speak at Northern Michigan University. Her talk, “Sandra Fluke: Making Our Voices Heard,” is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms.
It is free for NMU students with ID and $2 for the general public. Tickets are available at the door.
