Library to screen ‘Blind Side’

MARQUETTE – In celebration of March as Women’s History Month, Peter White Public Library presents the film “The Blind Side” at 6 p.m. March 5 in the Community Room.

“The Blind Side” is based on the true story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All-American football player and first-round NFL draft pick with the help of Leigh Anne Tuohy and her family.

The film was released in 2009, is rated PG-13 and runs for 129 minutes.

Viewers are welcome to bring a take-out supper and enjoy this series of four films featuring Best Leading Actress Oscar winners portraying real women.
