Marquette defeats Cedarville in NMU Public TV 13’s High School Bowl

Marquette Senior High School defeated Cedarville High School 320-40 recently in the third round of Northern Michigan Unversity Public TV 13’s High School Bowl. Representing Marquette, seated from left, are players Alex Shahbazi, team captain Dave Broadway, Nels Lindquist and Ben Wright. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula field teams for Public TV 13’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 35 years on the air. Marquette will advance to the quarter-finals when they play Escanaba in game 33. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on Public TV 13 at 8 p.m. Saturdays and noon Mondays
