Exchange deadline nearing
MARQUETTE – Rotary Short Term Exchange presents opportunities for students to be a part of the rotary program. Participants will live with host families in their selected land for three to four weeks in the summer, under the coordination of their local Rotary Club. The US student’s family then hosts a student from the family with whom their son or daughter stayed.
Any student, age 15-19 are eligible. Costs to the student’s family for the program include a $200 administrative fee, airline fare to and from the host country, spending money, and room and board for the visiting student.
To obtain an application, visit www.summerexchange.org. Applications are due by Thursday, Feb. 28. Earlier applications increase the likelihood of a match with the preferred country. For more information, call Dewey Jones at 361-9651 or email email@example.com.
