NCLL offers wine, leather
MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a wine tasting and presentation from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 23 or 24 at Everyday Wines on Baraga Street. Participants will attend one of the two sessions. They will sample six varieties and learn about the history of wine, along with tasting differences related to aroma, opacity and flavor. The cost is $8 for NCLL members, $13 for others.
A hands-on leather workshop on how to make cell phone cases from leather, is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Peter White Public Library arts and crafts room. Cost is $10 for NCLL members and $15 for nonmembers.
