Marie I. Wyman

NEGAUNEE, Mich. – Marie I. Wyman, 87, of Negaunee, MI, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility. She was born May 19, 1925, in Jackson, MI, living in and around Jackson in her childhood days, attending the Jackson schools, moving to Leslie, MI after marrying. Living 62 years in the home husband Alfred A. Wyman Jr. Built she moved to Negaunee, MI to live with daughter in 2008.

Over the years Marie, a homemaker, enjoyed caring for children, taking in children of the court system, as well as enjoying her own Grandchildren. She also had a love for playing Bingo, going with friends to the different halls in the area. She could be seen regularly walking in Leslie for exercise. After moving to Negaunee, MI she started attending the Marquette Adult Day Service, not only for the crafts, games, exercise & luncheons, but the bus ride back and forth gave her a sense of worth and filled her days with pleasure.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Alfred A. Wyman Jr., Father, Harry Frederick, Mother, Jennie McClure- Frederick, Brother, Henry Frederick, Brother, Robert Frederick and Great Grandson, Anthony Wilds. She is survived by children, Eleanor (Burton) Baldwin of Kodak, TN, Beverly (Billy) Scarbrough of Negaunee, MI, Jerry (Cindy) Wyman of Onondaga, MI, 9 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great- Great Grandson, Brothers, Harry (Hazel) McClure of Jacksonville, Fl and Donald Moore of Hillsdale, MI.

Funeral services remembering Marie’s life will be held at the J.C. Adams Funeral Home, 109 Church Street, Leslie, MI, on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens with Grandsons, Larry Baldwin, Ronald Baldwin, John Baldwin, Joseph Baldwin, James Wilds and Gary Wyman as pallbearers.
